BLACK 8 Rack N Roll remain vigilant in the Tuesday division of the 2023 SBA Budweiser Open 8-Ball League as they gathered a total of 49 wins after their victory against Black 8 Shooters last Tuesday held at the Black 8 Pool Bar.
Rack N Roll started off the night guns blazing as Joe Villagomez, Randy Sablan, and Julian Reyes excelled on the one-on-one scene with a 3-1 run in the opening Singles 8-Ball match. Even as a team, their chemistry could not be disrupted as Chris Camacho and John Reyes, along with Julian Reyes and Joe Villagomez, swept the following Partners 8-Ball match clean to extend the gap, 5-1.
Shooters started off late as Domino Antonio and Jerry Pelano finally stopped the bleeding by splitting the second Singles 8-Ball match evenly while Ronel Macalinao and Joven Tapay joined in the attempted rally with a 2-win sweep in the partners match. Unfortunately, it was a bit too late asonly a one-round match was left which was claimed by Rack N Roll, securing the early win, 8-5.
Joining the winner’s circle was the no.1 seed Rendezvous IT&E Destroyers as they continue their win streak over no.2 seed, Rendezvous Warriors, 8-5.
