Perez took his oath of office before Judge Perry Inos during the club’s regular meeting at the Hyatt Regency Saipan yesterday.
Perez succeeded recently installed president Michael Brazel who tendered his resignation last week, citing health reasons.
The Rotary Club’s council of past presidents met recently to elect a new president.
Inos administered the oath to Brazel during the club’s regular meeting on July 13.
Brazel was off island for a conference in the states when the Rotary Club installed its new set of officers and directors at the Charley’s Bar of the Pacific Islands Club on June 29.
