Saipan American Education Foundation School students reach forensic semis

Saipan American Education Foundation School 6th and 8th graders did their best and made it to the semifinals.

A lot of students from other private and public schools competed on the first day and only those who made it to the semis were to return the next day.

Kyle Keisha Villegas and Jd Faye Pascua, both 6th grade students, competed in Duo Interpretation.  Their duet piece was entitled “Dear Santa by Laurie Allen.

Kyle Keisha Villegas almost qualified for the semis in  Poetry. She made it until the 6th round. Her piece was “The Spilled Blood.” Jd Faye Pascua competed in Poetry until the 5th round.

Sean Benedict Palma, an 8th grader, also made it through the semis. He joined the Original Oratory category. He wrote his own piece and delivered it well in front of the judges.

Their example will encourage other students to join and compete in the NJFL. This in turn will help them in many aspects of their lives.
