Asia Camacho Hilario will be a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator this June at the Ina Well Fest on Guam.
SAIPAN-BORN business mindset coach Asia Camacho Hilario will be a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator at the Ina Well Fest on Guam this June.
According to Ina Wellness Collective, organizer of Ina Well Fest, the event is a “holistic wellness festival” that is “part retreat, part festival, and part conference,” bringing together Guam’s health and wellness community “to explore what it means to live well.”
This year’s festival will take place at the Hotel Nikko Guam on Saturday, June 22. Tickets will be available starting on April 4.
Hilario said it was a “pinch-me” moment because she has always wanted to attend Ina Well Fest.
“It felt like a dream come true and an absolute honor to share my wisdom and gifts to the people of Guam and the Northern Marianas,” she said. “I’m passionate about mental health and overjoyed to be able to help my community heal. Mental health is still a taboo subject in the islands, and I want to help break the stigma and normalize having conversations around mental health.”
Hilario has found success in the states as a blogger, podcaster and self-love coach.
She was a lifestyle blogger in 2019 and focused her content on mental health and women empowerment. Hilario said her blog was dedicated to “healing holistically” from post-traumatic stress as a result of childhood trauma. She defines holistic health as an approach to wellness that “simultaneously addresses physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual components.”
That same year, the nonprofit organization Women on the Rise in San Francisco named her their Woman of the Year.
In 2020, she transitioned to teaching others about how to heal holistically as a self-love coach, and also began podcasting.
She began business mindset coaching in 2023 after her self-love program clients asked for continued coaching.
At Ina Well Fest, Hilario said she will deliver a keynote address and lead two workshops: “Transmuting fear into courage in the pursuit of your dreams,” and “Awaken your intuition: empower your inner voice and embody self-trust.”
“Both workshops will be centered around inner child healing,” Hilario said. “Inner child work is an approach to recognizing and healing childhood trauma. It recognizes that our behaviors as an adult stem from our childhood experiences. Inner child work focuses on addressing our unmet needs by reparenting ourselves.”
She said she and Ina Well Fest share similar values.
“Ina Well Fest focus is on holistic healing, healing the mind, body, soul — everything I do in my own life and in my business, with my clients,” she said. “The Ina Wellness Collective also stands for empowering communities, which is one of my main motivations in life — to give back to my community and help the world heal collectively.”
As a child, Hilario was born and raised on Saipan, attending Grace Christian Academy and Garapan Elementary School before moving to the states in 2003.
She is thrilled to return to the Marianas.
“My visits back home are always emotional and inspirational, because it reminds me of who I do it for, and where I come from. It fuels my drive to keep up my work in the community,” she said. “It also reminds me of my humble beginnings, and reminds me that anything I dream up is possible. Everything I do is for my people. I am committed to elevating and liberating my people through mental health and holistic healing (healing the mind, body, soul). I believe that when we heal holistically, we can show up better in our relationships, career, for ourselves, for the community.”
