Saipan student shines in Sunshine state

Her achievements include an award from the United States Achievement Academy, Who’s Who in Mathematics and Leadership, top ten percentile of students in the nation, and is also selected by United States Achievement Academy.

She has perfect FCAT or Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test scores, an average college entrant SAT score through a program sponsored by Duke University an Ivy League college.

She was also accepted by four magnet schools for the Academy of Health Professions, International Academy of Law, International Baccalaureate and Scientific Research, and chosen student by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

In addition, she is on Principals “A” Honor Roll list and is the Honors and Gifted Language Arts and Chorus Student of the Year. She also joined competitions and achieved awards from the County’s Schools competition including:

History fair — Innovation, Impact & Change of War Photography and the County Science & Engineering Fair — Ohm’s Law: Vive La Resistance and a school Geography Bee finalist.

Moreover, she is busy as a school’s main office student assistant and Student Council member, all the while taking two high school courses in addition to the eighth grade curriculum.  Aside from her school activities, she enjoys writing stories for an online website for visitors from countries as far as, El Salvador, Belgium, the United Kingdom and the United Republic of Tanzania. Altogether, she is a well- rounded student, balancing fun and her rigorous studies. Felicia is a child of proud parents Greg and Raquel Sablan.
