The students received lessons in language, phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension.
“They learned phonics according to their grade level,” said Angie Perez, the school’s public relations director.
The children have three ESL classes everyday and two tutoring sessions.
More than 20 students are currently enrolled in the program.
The school offers the ESL program throughout the year.
SDA’s goal is to guide students to become “lasting learners who live to learn, live to love and live to give as well as to always start their educational journey with God.”
