Deleon Guerrero died of a heart attack on Aug. 5 at the age of 52.
The senators expressed their condolences to his family in Senate Resolution 16-08.
Deleon Guerrero is survived by his wife, Alice, and their four children — Polly Marie, Anthony James Dean Jonathan, and Devin Darrien, and his grandson, Anthony Jacob.
During his tenure at the college, Deleon Guerrero helped develop its Visitor Industry Program in his capacity as director for the school of business and hospitality.
“Deleon Guerrero was an active member of our island community, devoting much of his free time to volunteer work and youth programs, particularly as vice chairman to the Pacific Postsecondary Education Council and Board Member of the Marianas Tourism Education Council; and…outside of his busy professional life Antonio always found time to be a loving and caring father and husband to his family, wife and children,” the senators said.
