Through the Attorney General’s Office, the Adult Probation Office said Joseph Tumag, also known as Joker, had not completed payment of his probation fee, and court fine.
Tumag’s probation expired on Nov. 14, 2010, the Adult Probation Office said.
Tumag had an outstanding balance of $150 for his $500 probation fee.
He paid a total of $350 as of Oct. 14, 2010.
For his $200 court fine, Tumag had a $130 balance.
He paid a total of $70 as of March 31, 2006.
The government was represented by Chief Prosecutor Michael Ernest and trial assistant Tiberius Mocanu while Tumag appeared without an attorney.
Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja found Tumag to be indigent. The court appointed Assistant Public Defender Douglas Hartig to represent Tumag.
On Nov. 15, 2005, Tumag entered a plea of “no contest” to sexual assault in the second degree.
Tumag was sentenced to five years imprisonment, all suspended. He was placed on five years supervised probation under the direction and supervision of the Adult Probation Office.
The Attorney General’s Office charged Tumag with sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, sexual assault in the second degree, attempted sexual assault in the second degree, two counts of assault and battery, and two counts of disturbing the peace.
On or about June 2003, the AGO said Tumag touched his victim, then under 13, inappropriately.
