Joseph, 34, was supposed to change his not guilty plea last week, but the court ordered for a continued status conference “based on the matters adduced and for good cause shown by both parties.”
Joseph is facing charges of sexual assault in the first degree, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, child abuse, obstructing justice, and disturbing the peace.
The victim said the defendant had sexually abused her since she was 10.
The court imposed a $100,000 cash bail on Joseph, who has been detained since November last year.
