Tinian officer’s accomplice in ‘ice’ case pleads guilty

Aldan’s accomplice, Tinian Patrol Officer Gilbert Macaranas, earlier changed his plea  and admitted the offense.

Visiting Senior Judge Robert J. Bryan scheduled Aldan’s sentencing for Nov. 9, 2010, while the presentence investigation report will be submitted on Oct. 5.

On July 22, 2009, Aldan “knowingly and intentionally” distributed “ice,” according to the plea agreement.
