Rep. Stanley T. Torres, Ind.-Saipan, said he was impressed by Megarr’s work.
“It’s good that Bruce re-applied for the position,” Torres told Variety.
“I’m satisfied with his performance — he really knows his job,” he added.
CUC earlier said that Megarr’s contract, which ended yesterday, would not be renewed.
There are three applicants for the position, according to CUC.
Torres said “it would be good for CUC to disclose the identities of the applicants and the real reason for Megarr’s non-renewal.”
He added, “I’m wondering why his supervisors didn’t renew his contract.”
CUC Executive Director Antonio Muna said Megarr did not meet management’s “expectations.”
“Bruce is aware of what our expectations are, and what we expect of him,” Muna said in an earlier interview.
