THE Transpac group of companies (Coca-Cola, Subway, Foremost, Glimpses and Scoops) has donated more than $10,000 of products to the 35th annual walkathon. They are providing 29 6ft. Subway sandwiches for all the Saipan walkers as well as Powerade hydration and Foremost blended coffee drinks and Scoops ice cream cones.
“We are thankful again this year to have the generous support of the Transpac group. They have supported the Red Cross Walkathon for more than 15 years. Our event wouldn’t be successful without their partnership and commitment to Red Cross programs and services” said John Hirsh, NMI Red Cross executive director.
The walkathon takes place this Saturday, April 20 and starts at 6am at American Memorial Park. A $20 donation includes refreshments, give-a-ways and a walkathon T-shirt.
