The promotion of Masanori Takahashi as Pacific Development Inc. general manager, and Gordon T. Marciano as PDI director took effect on Jan. 1.
PDI President Yoichi Matsumura said he welcomed the “well-deserved promotion” of the two personnel.
He said Takahashi and Marciano have been with the company for more than 15 years.
“They have served the company for more than a decade and are looking forward to taking the company operation to the next level while facing the various challenges of 2010,” Matsumura said.
The two individuals, he added, have led the company in various tourism and community undertakings.
Takahashi and Marciano are credited for pioneering the successful Rota charter operation which began in 2007.
Mario Espeleta, PDI administrative manager, at the same time said their staff and management extend their appreciation to the community and the Variety for the assistance and support PDI received in 2009.
