They also will attend a town hall meeting hosted by Congressman Gregorio Kilili Comacho Sablan to hear firsthand about the progress the Northern Marianas has made in educating its students and the challenges they continue to face.
Harris and Martinez will provide an update on the Obama administration’s blueprint for revising the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and the department’s commitment to improving educational opportunities and resources for all students. The blueprint challenges the nation to embrace education standards that would put America on a path to global leadership.
