Woman hit by tour bus on Guam

At around 8:59 p.m., officers from the Tumon Precinct responded to a reported auto-pedestrian accident by the Westin Resort in Tumon.

Upon further investigation, officers learned the woman was walking east by the entrance to the Westin Resort toward Nikko Hotel when a Sanko Bus reportedly struck her.

The woman sustained a bump to the back of her head and complained of pain to her right knee and elbow.  She was transported to GMH for treatment.

A nursing supervisor said the woman was seen and had X-rays done.  She was discharged late Wednesday night. The woman was advised to come back to the hospital if she continues to feel pain.

There were no citations issued, nor any arrests made; the case is currently under investigation.
