Associate Judge Kenneth L. Govendo ordered 20-year-old Megan P. Masga to post 10 percent or $3,000 in cash and the remaining $27,000 in unsecured bond for charges of illegal possession and trafficking of a controlled substance.
The defendant was represented by Chief Public Defender Adam Hardwicke while Chief Prosecutor Kevin A. Lynch appeared on behalf of the government.
Govendo set the preliminary hearing for May 19, 2009 at 9 a.m. and the arraignment for May 26, 2009 at 9 a.m.
Associate Judge Perry B. Inos signed an arrest warrant for Masga on May 7, 2009 and recommended a bail of $30,000 for the defendant’s temporary liberty.
DPS conducted a monitored controlled purchase of crystal methamphetamine from the defendant on April 25 and 26.
