Woman in misuse of credit card case to change plea

A plea agreement has been filed in Superior Court. Wing Yee Tse, 34, will change her not guilty plea, and admit the charge of misuse of credit card.

The defendant agreed to serve three years incarceration, all suspended except for six months, with credit for time served.

The CNMI government will not oppose the removal by the U.S. government of Wing Yee Tse after she serves her six-month jail term, according to the plea agreement.

On Oct. 30, 2010, the prosecution said Wing Yee Tse unlawfully used a credit card and purchased products at DFS Galleria, amounting to $4,210.

The defendant has been in custody since October last year.

Assistant Attorney General Tiberius Mocanu is prosecuting the case, while Assistant Public Defender Douglas Hartig is representing the defendant.
