Ngaden will be meeting with election board members in Pohnpei, Saipan and Honolulu while Jessica Fas, who is on a separate trip to Palau, will be recruiting at least two board members from among the Yapese citizens working in Palau to conduct the election there.
Their meetings are important because the board members need enough time to plan on how to begin their work since they all have jobs. Another reason for the trip is so that they can secure ahead of time the facilities that will be used for the election.
Ngaden and Fas are carrying forms and other election documents that they need to discuss and explain with the board members so they fully understand how they should conduct the election.
