“The court finds…that the ends of justice served by allowing the defense further time to review the evidence in preparation for trial, outweighs any other interests the public or the defendant may have in a speedy trial,” Bryan stated in his written order.
Leon Guerrero is being represented by court-appointed attorney David Banes.
The trial begins on Aug. 2, 2010.
Currently out on bail, Leon Guerrero has denied the two counts of extortion charges against him.
