Younis Art Studio/Marianas Variety major sponsor of cancer march

“We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff and management of Younis Art Studio/Marianas Variety for their continued support of this annual event which raises funds for cancer patient assistance, cancer awareness programs and other cancer related services.  Their contribution is greatly appreciated,” said 2011 MMAC public relations committee chairman Christopher A. Concepcion.

“The 2011 MMAC committee would like to remind the general public that all MMAC teams are currently selling luminaries and raffle tickets for only $5 each.  Purchase a luminary in honor of someone who has survived or is currently battling cancer or in memory of a person who has lost the fight against this deadly disease.  Or you can purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win great prizes courtesy of title sponsor Delta Air Lines.  In addition, each team will be holding individual fundraising events so please support your favorite team by contributing to their fundraising efforts,” said Concepcion.  The confirmed 2011 MMAC teams are Ahu, Aschoscho, Bank of Guam/Garapan Elementary School, Bodig, IT&E, Marianas Health Services/GTC Elementary School, Pacific Islands Club, Saipan Health Clinic/St. Jude Renal Care Facility, Tan Holdings/Kagman High School and Take Care/FHP.

The 2011 Marianas March Against Cancer will be held on May 13-14 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.

The 2011 MMAC is brought to you by title sponsors Bank of Guam, Delta Air Lines, Saipan Health Clinic/St. Jude Renal Care Facility and Take Care/FHP.  Special thanks to Bank of Saipan, Hyatt Regency Saipan, IP&E/Shell Marianas, Marianas Health Services, MMAC Golf Tournament Committee, Saipan Golfers Association, Saipan Images and Younis Art Studio.
