Youth Advisory Panel holds anti-bullying seminar at GTC

Advisor Gina Camacho Sambilay said the purpose of their visit was to shed some light on the reality of bullying and how it could hurt oneself and everyone else around them.

This is a small but effective step in the Youth Advisory Panels Anti-Bullying campaign, she added.

The members illustrated the types of bullying and the effects bullying plays in school life through dramatization.

The GTC students learned about the different types of bullying: physical, verbal, and cyber.

Sixth-grader Breanna Camacho said she enjoyed the presentation and hopes the panel members will come back because they were fun to interact with.

Sambilay says  the panel members of KagHS  visit the north-bound schools on a yearly basis.

The members who visited GTC were Honaivy Babauta, Merwin Navisaga, Amanda Santos, Angela Prado, Jordan Mesa, Nonglak Kapileo, Chrystal Santos, Jace Pineda, Harumi Aldan, Manuel Cabrera, Chakhrit Kapileo, Lou Vicky Camacho, Keena Barlial, Ezra Lizama, Niklas Iglecias, Joey Borja, Eva Jean Taitano, Louie Dean Bautista, Mike Manglona, Andrea Camacho, and Rileana Babauta.

GTC students, staff, and faculty thanked the students of Kagman High School for their big help in making the community a better and safer place to live and learn.
