HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A man was charged with aggravated assault as a third-degree felony for allegedly throwing a wooden “wok” brush at a co-worker.
Last week Wednesday, officers with the Guam Police Department were dispatched to a Hagåtña restaurant, where they spoke with an employee who said he saw a co-worker bleeding from the head. The bleeding man said Steve Arongaw “had thrown something that struck him in the left side of his head,” according to a magistrate’s complaint filed in the Superior Court of Guam.
The victim was treated for a 1-inch cut on his head and taken to the hospital. Police viewed surveillance footage and found that a wooden “wok” brush was thrown at the victim.
Arongaw allegedly admitted to officers that he “had assaulted the victim and stated that he felt like he was being picked on by co-workers,” according to the complaint.
