The man was identified as Reggie Remoket, 29 years old, male-Palauan.
According to the police report, on Sunday morning at around 4:30 a.m. Officer Melvin along with his troops spotted Remoket in front of the Bem Ermii Wagon Burger house ordering food; while he was getting money from his pocket he accidentally pulled out a Zip lock containing marijuana.
Police then immediately arrested Remoket and transported him to the Division of Corrections (DOC). After he was investigated police transferred the evidence to Detective Sengebau for further police probe.
The case is under investigation.
In other news, two minors involved in alcohol consumption were arrested by the police on Saturday morning.
At around 1: 20 a.m., a 14-year-old male juvenile was arrested in Meyuns while police conducting foot patrol.
The minor was spotted near the Morisong hamlet standing at the side of the road appeared to be drunk.
Officers approached the minor who managed to run away and was transported to DOC.
A case of minor consumption and curfew violation are now being charged against him.
Meanwhile at around 1: 25 a.m. another minor was apprehended in the same area who observed to be drunk.
The 17-year-old male juvenile was brought to the police office and detained. He was also charged of minor consumption and curfew violation.
The case is pending for further police investigation.
