The man was identified as Jason Ikeya.
Sgt. Michael Rafael said that Ikeya was booked and confined for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon for attacking a woman.
Rafael said the victim came to the police station on Friday at 8:30 pm and reported that Ikeya physically assaulted her at her house in Madelaii.
The woman sustained bruises at the back of her head.
Sgt. Rafael said the police report did not indicate what kind of weapon was used when the suspect assaulted the victim.
In that same night, a man was also attacked by three men at the Sure Save parking lot in Meketii.
The incident was reported to the police at 6:10 pm on Friday.
The police report indicated that Ngimak Bechesrrek, Troy Ngiraikelau and Mc Cloud Ngiraikelau came up together and kicked and punched the victim several times.
The three suspects fled before police arrived to the scene.
In other police report, a woman was rushed to the hospital for treatment after she was attacked by another woman over the weekend.
The police report indicated that the suspect came to the victim’s residence and slammed her to the wall.
The victim’s hip hit a post and sustained injuries.
