Military test set in Nov.

All high school graduates,high school seniors that are not scheduled for high school testing or those with a GED and have 15 or more semester hours at Palau Community College; Active Duty Applicants ages 17-41; Citizen of the United States, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau or have an I-551 (permanent resident card) are invited to take the military test.

The ASVAB test will be held on Nov. 2 to 5 at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The place is yet to be announced.

All interested applicants must bring a photo ID. They must also be present at the test site one hour prior to the given test time in order to be prioritized to take the test.

The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test, which is given at over 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide and is developed and maintained by the Department of Defense.

The test aims to take advantage of the many life-changing opportunities like money for college, skill training, guaranteed pay and entitlements, travel, adventure, full medical and dental care, 20-year retirement and much, much more.
