According to police report, at around 2:38 p.m. on Friday, off-duty officer Elkang called the police office and asked for assistance after his black bag containing his .38 caliber pistol was missing.
Based on his statement, Elkang left his bag inside his car parked in front of his sister’s residence in Meyuns and went inside the house. When he came out after a few minutes, Elkang noticed that his bag was stolen.
Police immediately responded and conducted an investigation in the area. Later they apprehended the male suspect and brought him to the office.
The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) informed the suspect’s parents and waited them before they began the investigation.
On the same day at around 11:50 a.m. a Filipino male came to the police office and also reported that his brown leather wallet containing $900, dependent permits, alien registration card, bank of Guam debit card, SS ID and other important documents was missing.
According to Jose Visaya, he left his wallet on the cement of Mr. Madraisau’s residence to get his car. While he was on his way to Medalaii he recalled his wallet he left in the area.
Visaya, immediately returned to the house to find his wallet but it was already gone.
No suspects have been identified. The case is under police investigation.
