KOROR (Palau Horizon) – More than $3,000 worth of items were stolen by unidentified suspects in separate grand larceny incidents last week.
In Airai, a total of $2,500 worth of machine was missing after the unidentified suspect reportedly stole the 23- feet boat thriller at the Airai side of Japan-Palau Friendship bridge.
Police investigation showed at around 1:05 p.m. on March 2, a female caller reported to the police that the machine was missing. No suspect has been identified, however police is conducting further investigation to resolve the case.
Meanwhile, a teacher from Palau High School also reported to the police that his portable DVD player was stolen.
According to the report, the DVD player worth $525 was inside the teacher’s room when it was carted away by the unidentified suspects.
Police is still conducting further investigation on the matter.
