IN celebration of Armed Forces Day on Saturday, the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs, the CNMI Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the 302nd Quarter Master Detachment 1, the U.S. Army Recruitment Center, the Marianas High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps, Indo-Pacific Command’s Maj. Joshua Kettenton, Marine Corps Tinian OIC GySgt David Stilwell and Michael Smith joined members of the local community in various activities.
On Saipan, they distributed food to residents at the Garapan Fishing Base.
On Tinian, the Bureau of Military Affairs and Tinian Mayor’s Office, together with the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Marine Corps Tinian Detachments, held an Armed Forces Day Hero Fun Run, in honor of the men and women of the armed forces.
