COMMONWEALTH Healthcare Corp. Chief Executive Officer Esther L. Muna announced on Thursday that the Omicron variant of Covid-19 has been identified in the CNMI. The first case was detected on Dec. 20, 2021.
Pacific Islands Health Officers Association regional communicable disease epidemiologist Stephanie Kern-Allely joined Muna in a virtual media briefing and provided data regarding Covid-19 positive cases, hospitalizations, and the vaccination rate in the CNMI.
