Aguon who arrived on September 22 said that there were 69 of them who participated in the Advance Security Studies, which was held at the Asia Pacific Security Studies College in Hawaii.
Aguon left in August 4 to represent Palau in the Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies Seminar.Aguon said the seminar was very interesting and he learned a lot from it.He said they discussed regional and world security and shared ideas about resolving conflict and preserving peace.Aguon said they also talked about risk reduction management, terrorism, negotiation and media.Aguon said in general the training was very informative.There were 36 countries in Asia Pacific including Palau that participated in the seminar.
