KOROR (Palau Horizon) – The Board of Trustees of Palau Community College (PCC) in its annual organizational meeting held last week elected its officers for 2010.
Elected by unanimous vote as chairperson was Bilung Gloria G. Salii. Other elected officials were Masa-Aki N. Emesiochl, vice chairman; Valeria Toribiong, secretary/treasurer; Buk Emil Ramarui, member; Emais Roberts, member; and Carmel Hanser, student trustee.
Masa-Aki N. Emesiochl, currently chairman of the College of Micronesia, was also nominated to continue serving on the Board of Regents, representing both the College and the Republic.
The appointment of Emesiochl will be recommended to President Johnson Toribiong.
The Board also adopted its annual calendar containing its regular meetings schedule. Except when the Board is discussing sensitive issues, all regular meetings of the Board are open to the public.
