TRANSPORTATION Security Administration managers Henry Litulumar and Fausia Dela Cruz on Tuesday received the Patriotic Employer Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Guam-CNMI Area Chair Rita A. Sablan, Ed.D., Ombudsman Joann Aquino, Employer Outreach Coordinator Rose Igitol and volunteer Joshlyn Blas.
The TSA managers were nominated by U.S. Army Reservist Ronnel Gamboa.
Litulumar and Dela Cruz received the awards in the presence of other TSA officers at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Gamboa said since his first employment with TSA, Litulumar has always been supportive of Gamboa’s Army Reserve duties.
Litulumar “has his door always open for all the men and women that are in a military capacity,” Gamboa said.
“With the support of Mr. Litulumar, all servicemembers of the agency are given ample time to complete their required tasks once transitioning back from military duties. Mr. Litulumar is someone who truly embodies the overall mission of the ESGR,” Gamboa added.
Dela Cruz, for her part, has also been supportive of Gamboa’s Army Reserve service.
“With multiple active reservists working for the agency, Fausia has always ensured that we fulfill our commitments to the Army in a timely manner. Fausia is very approachable and has always been flexible when it comes to short notices of our Reserve commitments,” Gamboa said.
He added that Dela Cruz deserves to be recognized because for the reservists working for TSA on Saipan, “she stands as our symbol of the ESGR program.”
