Singeo was formally sworn in Friday after she passed the Palau Bar.She is a welcome addition to the women lawyers in Palau.
Attorney General Ernestine Rengiil said that Singeo is now a full-pledged lawyer and she will be promoted as Assistant Attorney General.
“I am happy that there will be another Palauan lawyer in the AG office,” Rengiil said.
Associate Justice Kathleen Salii administered the oath of office in the presence of her parents and co-workers. Singeo currently works at the OAG as a law clerk.
Singeo thanked her family for being with her through her journey.
Singeo graduate from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2009. She was a dean lister of the school.
She also holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts Political Science and Communication from the University of Hawaii, Hilo.
Singeo prior to joining the OAG was a summer intern from May 2008 to August 2008 at the Office of the Independent Counsel.
