Governor Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang met on Friday with Jeju Airlines CEO E-Bae Kim and other representatives from the airline. Marianas Visitors Authority Board Chair Gloria Cavanagh also participated in the meeting. Jeju Air is the largest low-cost airline in South Korea. The discussion focused on expanding Jeju’s passenger service between Seoul and the CNMI, and on other destinations that Jeju serves. Jeju currently provides daily flights between Saipan and Seoul, South Korea, and will expand this service in April to include two daily flights beginning April 12.
