Jasper Etikoi Salvador was originally sentenced to six months of imprisonment, however Senior Judge Honora Remengesau Rudimch suspended all the sentence except for seven days.
Salvador was sentenced to serve seven consecutive days beginning on February 23, 2009 at 4 pm.The Judge in her Judgment and sentence order stated that Salvador is eligible for work release on Sundays to Fridays from 7 am to 4 pm.Defendant was placed on supervised probation.The Judge ordered defendant to pay $100 fine and to stay away from the victims, Stanley Kingsang and Leah Oiph, as well as their residences.Defendant will be evaluated at the Bedochel Clinic for anger management and alcohol abuse treatment.He was also ordered to comply with all the recommendations and to obey all laws and orders of the court and the directives of the probation office.Salvador appeared for a plea hearing on February 17 and entered a guilty plea to disturbing the peace, trespass and assault and battery.The government in exchange of his plea, agreed to dismiss the other charges.Salvador and his co-defendants Sean Itelmong Alexander and Leeroy Remoket were all charged for assaulting the victims and for damaging their property on July 15, 2008.Alexander and Remoket entered a plea bargain on February 9 and pleaded guilty to trespassing, assault and malicious mischief.Alexander and Remoket were also sentenced to seven days of imprisonment.
