VOTE for your favorite shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and even sunset spots in the Best of the Marianas.
A program created by Marianas Variety in partnership with the Marianas Visitors Authority, Best of the Marianas will highlight the best businesses, places, food and establishments in the community.
Over 8,000 individuals submitted their nominations online from Nov. 9 to 30, 2022, and a total of 570 nominees advanced to the voting phase of the Best of the Marianas.
Voting began on Dec. 15, 2022, and will end on Feb. 15, 2023.
You can vote online (www.mvariety.com/best_of_the_marianas), or through printed ballots published in Marianas Variety on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week for the duration of the voting phase.
Drop boxes for the printed ballots can be found at the offices of Marianas Variety and the Marianas Visitors Authority and other high-traffic locations.
The winners will be announced on Feb. 28, 2023 in a special publication available in print and online.
Marianas Variety President Amier C. Younis said the program not only highlights the best of what our islands can offer but also encourages healthy competition among businesses.
In addition, he said it is an opportunity for businesses to promote their brands, products and services.
“As we know, many businesses were not fully operational during the pandemic. Now that the economy and travel continue to open up, we want to create an opportunity for businesses to be recognized and showcase their best. It is also an opportunity for community members to show their support to their favorite businesses,” he said.
The Best of the Marianas categories include golf course, barbecue, burger, bar, hotel, pizza, chicken wings, snorkeling spot, sunset spots, and tour site or natural attractions, among other things.
