ASKED about an update regarding 44-year-old Liona Charley who was reported missing on Sept. 17, Department of Public Safety spokesman Andre Pangelinan on Tuesday said, “Still missing.”

Last week, DPS stated that it received a call regarding a missing person in San Antonio.
At the scene, police met with the caller who stated that his mother Liona Charley had not been home since Sunday, Sept. 4, 2021, at their other residence in Koblerville.
The son said Liona Charley came home sometime around 10 o’clock in the evening and began getting upset at his siblings. Then around 11 p.m., Liona Charley left the residence and had not returned home since.
She was last seen wearing a blue sweater and a black skirt.

“Her safety is of utmost concern to the police department and her family members. Our officers are here to help you,” DPS stated.
As for 45-year-old Julianne Martin who was reported missing on March 30, 2021, DPS stated that it does not have new information about her.
Martin was last seen in China Town wearing a t-shirt, a traditional mumu skirt (yellow, black, green) and was holding a blue jacket, DPS said.
