Lorenza Dela Cruz, 34, did not sustain any injury as well as her male companion when the white Camry car she was driving crashed to the mangrove Wednesday afternoon.
Sgt. Michael Rafael said that the incident was reported to the police at 12:20 pm across the Hawaiian Rock.Dela Cruz was driving towards Airai when the car run off the roadway and landed to the mangrove.Dela Cruz was cited for negligent driving.Meanwhile a collision was also reported to the police on Tuesday afternoon in Madelaii.Sgt. Rafael said there were two vehicles involved in the traffic accident.The pickup driven by a 53-year-old man stopped on the road because a trailer truck was coming out from a curve to enter the main road.While the pickup was waiting on the road, a silver sedan driven by a woman came from behind and hit the pickup truck.Sgt. Rafael said police has yet to determine who caused the collision.
