Falan explained that the Legislature need to purchase six desktop computers with or without monitors, keyboards and mouse and a multi-function copier/printer, fax, scanner.
He said the source of funding will be local revenue under the Legislature’s fiscal year 2011 budget.
Falan said the six computers are to replace the current three inoperable desktop computer systems and three others that have surpassed their life span and have had numerous problems and are on the verge of breaking down completely and are not economically feasible to revive them.
