(Run Saipan) — Aug. 4, 2023 is International Beer Day and Run Saipan is celebrating it with our second Beer Mile. This event combines the fun of a backyard barbecue with the thrill of a mile long race!
Join us for the second annual Run Saipan Beer Mile, sponsored by Michelob Ultra and hosted by Saipan Country Club. Help us in our continuing attempt to redefine carbo-loading!

The rules are simple: Drink one beer, Run 400m, Drink another beer, Run 400m, Drink a third beer, Run 400m, Drink a fourth beer and then take another 400m loop to finish the course. On the fourth lap, you will be rewarded with your race swag- a custom Beer Mile 500ml Glass Mug that you can drain and keep.
A special consideration is the ability to pace yourselves — those who fail to keep their beer in their stomachs will have to run a fifth, penalty lap to finish the race. Prizes will be available from Marpac and the fastest male and female runner will also receive a weekend for two Friday and Saturday nights in the Saipan Vegas hotel family rooms with free unlimited golf (subject to availability) and an $25 free play voucher for the game room.
Each participant will receive a custom beer mug as they start their fourth lap. Spectators and runners alike are invited to come to the Saipan Country Club Tiki Bar after the race for drink specials and some good running stories.
