THE BLK8 Slayers remain the no.3 team in the Thursday Division of the SBA Budweiser Open 8-Ball League with a record of 35-17 after defeating Black 8 Saipan Computer Services, 9-4, Thursday at Black 8 Pool Bar.

The night started with both teams splitting the first two matches.

However, in the second Singles 8-Ball match, the Slayers’ Rey Hermogenes, Fel Kalen, Ray “Stingray” Matsunaga, and Arlon Buensalida bagged four consecutive wins to seize the lead, 7-3.

SCS failed to get out of the gutter, but won the final Partners 8-Ball match before bowing down to the Slayers, 4-9.

Winners, too

The True North Hobbies also climbed the ladder after dominating Last Shot Kanaka, 10-3, while the Rendezvous Warriors outshot the Black 8 Crazy Ballers, 10-5.
