THE 6JMS Champinos and Hella Darty continue to dominate the Tuesday B Division of the SEDA Bud Light League after winning their matches Tuesday last week.
The Champinos collected their 117th win after taking down the Just Chillin’ BulaChelus 9-6 at the 6JMS Sports Bar.
The Champinos started strong with Josh Muna, Skem Kaipat and Russ Cruz pulling a 3-1 run in the opening 301 Double In/Double Out match.
The BulaChelus fought back with James Tudela and Andrew Masga splitting the Partners Crazy Cricket match followed by another split by Tudela and Pete Masga.
In one-on-one action, Tudela and Pete Masga triumphed while the Champinos’ Muna and Kaipat split the Singles Regular Cricket rounds as their team trailed 5-7.
Despite the BulaChelus’ fighting spirit, the Champinos managed to refocus and secure the advantage with a two-win sweep of the Partners Half-It match.
The BulaChelus claimed the final Team 1101 match, but it wasn’t enough as the Champinos sealed a 9-6 victory.
6JMS Hella Darty vs Just Chillin’ Team Kalakas
For their part, the 6JMS Hella Darty outplayed the Just Chillin’ Team Kalakas 9-6.
After splitting the opening 301 Double In/Double Out, Hella Darty seized control with a two-win sweep courtesy of Stan Ngalen and Jared Ayuyu, and Toby “T-Bag” Castro and Mike Iguel.
However, Kalakas flipped the script and pulled their own two-win sweep in the following Partners 501 Double In/Double Out match for the second deadlock of the night, 4-4.
Hella Darty then returned fire in the Singles Regular Cricket match thanks to Ngalen, Ayuyu and Iguel for a 3-1 run before splitting the next match and winning the final Team 1101 match to secure victory, 9-6.
The third team to taste victory last week was Tambayan GVD Mix which outlasted 6JMS Shaka 8-7.
