But it was not an easy race for Pangelinan last Sunday as he had to work his way to the top.
In heat 1, it was Melvin Cepeda who stood at the frontline, executing each turn successfully to snatch first place.
However, Pangelinan returned to heat 2 with hunger and it showed as he powered his way to the finish line in first place.
With heat 2 as the tie-breaker, it was Pangelinan who topped the race with Melvin Cepeda settling for second place.
Third was Patrick Cabrera who also finished third in both heats. Byron Castro struggled in heat 1 but bounced back in the next heat, claiming fourth place while Ray Yumul took fifth, Keoni Macaranas was sixth and Christian Camacho was seventh. Ton Basa was the lone ATV rider.
But Melvin Cepeda did not end the day empty handed as he took first place in the veterans division followed by Patrick Cabrera in second and Ray Yumul in third.
As for the expert open division, Shane Alvarez continued to reign supreme. He was unmatched as he took both heats with ease to lock in first place.
Angelito Hernaez gave Alvarez a run for his money but could not gain enough momentum and had to settle for second place.
In third was Christian Camacho with his ATV followed by Corry Pangelinan in fourth. Cuki Alvarez was fifth while Melvin Cepeda was sixth.
In the Minis 1 and 2 division, four female riders made an appearance this time. Mariana Alvarez stood tall taking both heats to win first place ahead of Ethan Yumul who shadowed behind in second while Maribel Igitol claimed third place.
Edina Cepeda placed fourth followed by Devin Yumul in fifth and Melshy Cepeda in sixth.
