STANLEY Iakopo Jr. and Billie Pangelinan are looking to secure the coveted “red plate” trophy in their respective classes following their 50-point performances in round 6 of the Monster Energy Points Race Series Sunday at Cow Town Raceway Park.
Iakopo currently leads the Mini I Class after bouncing back from his third-place finish in round 5. In round 6 he topped both heats to earn his fourth 50-point finish of the season. Harley Susulin, for his part, finished second in both heats to collect 44 points.
Mini II Class
Billie Pangelinan made up for her loss in the Power Puff Girls Class by notching 50 points in the Mini II Class, besting five other riders.
Vicente Palacios was the only rider who made Pangelinan look back, but he had to settle for second place with two runner-up finishes in both heats to earn 44 points.
Matthew Guerrero’s steady performance gave him third place with 38 points while Leighton Palacios finished fourth with 36 points. Calix Cruz came in fifth with 33 points while TJ Ferrer was sixth with 31 points.
Mini ATV Class
In the Mini ATV Class, Anella Igitol secured the top spot with a strong first-place finish in heat 2. She finished second in heat 1 for 22 points, and collected a total of 47 points to squeeze her way to first place overall.
In second place with 45 points was Kassidy Camacho, who finished first in heat 1.
Kimason Cabrera was third with 42 points while Keoni Rosario came in fourth with 18 points.
Novice Class
Lastly, in the Novice Class, Aric Cruz clinched the podium finish with 47 points while Joseph Santos settled for second place with 43 points. Bob Ferrer was third with 42 points.
