JSN bagged another win  in the masters division of the Saipan Centennial Lion Club Invitational Basketball League by trouncing Double A, 74-57,  Saturday at the Civic Center basketball court.

In the opening quarter, both teams exchanged leads.

JSN played with teamwork as they moved the ball unselfishly with each player having a taste of the action. Double A, for their part, relied on Oliver Rivera and Rodney Catalla who delivered six and five points, respectively.

Down 11-14, Double A continued to rely on long-range attacks with Rivera, Arnold Sangoyo, and John Jugos connecting a bucket each. But they had more misses than makes which handed JSN more scoring opportunities on the other end.

JSN’s Joboy Agbanlog ignited the run with two consecutive buckets while team mate Reymond Santos took over the remainder of the second quarter with eight straight points for a 32-27 lead.

The battle continued throughout the third canto with Double A still trailing.

In the final quarter, JSN picked up the pace and eventually overwhelmed Double A as Tim Wesley and Santos reignited the flame with two points each while John Joyner carried JSN team to victory with seven points, 74-57.
