Kassidy Camacho clinches 1st place in round 5 of Mini ATV

KASSIDY Camacho slipped away with a Mini ATV Class podium finish in round 5 of the 2022 Monster Energy Points Race Series on May 29, 2022 at Cow Town Raceway Park.

It was a true championship-like battle between Camacho and Theresa Borja.

In heat 1, Borja’s well-timed turn of the ignition allowed her to pull ahead of the competition. With well executed turns and smooth landings, she snagged first-place for 25 points while Camacho shadowed closely behind with 22 points.

However, Camacho went full-throttle the second time around as she took control of heat 2.

It was a nail-biting race, but when the dust settled, it was Camacho who crossed the finish line first, earning 25 points while Borja settled for second place with 22 points.

Both riders had a total of 47 points each, but heat 2 served as the tiebreaker and gave Camacho the overall top spot.

Borja finished second; Anella Igitol was third with 40 points; Kimason Cabrera was fourth with 36 points; Franchesca Yumul was fifth with 32 points; and Keoni Rosario was sixth with 15 points.

Mini 1 Class

In Mini 1 Class, Jonoah Santos won by a hair. In heat 1, he could only finish third with 20 points. But in heat 2, he outraced the competition to secure first place and 25 points for a grand total of 45 points.

In second place was Harley Susulin with 44 points while Stanley Iakopo Jr. was third with 43 points and Te’Ohnn Pua was fourth with 38 points.

Mini II Class

In the Mini II Class, Billie Pangelinan, who topped the  Power Puff Girls Class, collected her second podium finish with another flawless 50-point performance.

Vicente Palacios was second, edging TJ Ferrer in heat 2. Both had 40 points. Ferrer had to settle for third place.

 Devin Yumul was fourth with 37 points, Leighton Palacios was fifth with 34 points, Matthew Guerrero was sixth with 30 points, Calix Cruz was seventh with 28 points, and Kale Macaranas was eighth with 27 points.

Peewee ATV Class

In the Peewee ATV Class, Keoni Rosario remained in control thanks to another 50-point finish. Rockson Cabrera was second  with 44 points, Brooklyn Susulin was third with 38 points and Angel Camacho was fourth with 38 points.

Peewee I Class

In the Peewee I Class, Bentley Koshiro ruled round 5 with 50 points while Roseha Untalan finished second overall with 44 points.

Ryan Borja was third with 40 points and Jarell Untalan was fourth  with 36 points.

Peewee II Class

In Peewee II Class, Conan Iakopo earned another 50-point performance to dominate round 5.

Keenon Togawa finished second with 44 points, Kaleb Reyes was third with 40 points and Elleayah Cruz was fourth  36 points.
