The first Annual Mayor’s Cup Coed Softball Tournament, Flores said will be on double elimination format. There will also be a home run derby.
The Mayor’s office, he said is hosting the tournament as part of its effort to bring the sports community together.
All proceeds of the event, Flores said will go to the Liberation Day Committee.
The first, second, third and fourth placers will be awarded with trophies besides the Mayor’s Cup perpetual trophy.
There will be a meeting on Monday, June 21, for the interested coach and managers at the Saipan Mayor’s office at 5:30 p.m.
