2nd Annual Docomo Pacific Golf Classic

“This year, we’ve lowered the entry fee to $85.00”, says James Nelson, Docomo Pacific’s General Manager.  “And as an added bonus, golfers who are Docomo Pacific subscribers can enter for only $75.00.  Times are tough, but we must continue to do all we can to support non-profit organizations that have a direct impact on our student community”.

This year’s beneficiary is the Marianas Tourism Education Council.  It is vital that businesses, both large and small, support MTEC in its mission of strengthening awareness in our high school students of the importance of our tourism industry.

Some of the major sponsors this year are Bank of Hawaii, Delta Airlines, DFS Saipan Ltd., First Hawaiian Bank, Kautz Glass, Mobil and the Tan Siu Lin Foundation.  “Being that this is the second year of hosting the tournament, the responses received from the business community have been great and we look forward to more in the days to come” added Nelson.

Entry forms are available all golf courses, as well as the Docomo Pacific store on Middle Road in Gualo Rai.  Submissions of payments are accepted at LaoLao Bay Golf & Resort and at Docomo Pacific.  The deadline for entries is Thursday, September 1, 2011, so golfers are encouraged to enter as soon as possible.
