ACS 2, SSHS 1 earn badminton playoff spots

AFTER the regular season concluded on Saturday at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium, Agape Christian School 2 and Saipan Southern High School 1 secured playoff spots in the co-ed high school division of the PSS-NMBA Interscholastic Badminton League SY24-25 with a total of seven points each.

ACS 2 defeated KHS, 3-2, collecting three points in the men’s doubles, women’s singles, and women’s doubles events.

Against MHS 2, ACS 2 won four of the five events.

SSHS 1 had a similar story, nearly silencing MHS 2, 4-1, and slipping past KHS, 3-2.

MHS 1 trails closely behind with five points, while MHS 2, Saipan International School 3, and KHS are tied with four points each.
