Ada reelected Little League district administrator

Ada, the only senior Little League district administrator in the Pacific will add up another three years to his already 14 years in administering the region’s longest running youth sports program.

Tinian Little League president Ignacio Aquiningoc who was appointed to chair the election of district administrator said the three NMI Little League presidents including him, voted unanimously for Ada.

“We feel that Mr. Ada has been doing an outstanding job so he deserves to be in the District Little League for another three years,” he said.

Aquiningoc said it is fortunate that Ada is willing to serve for another term as district administrator. The three Little League presidents in the CNMI have the voting power.

He said, he has been in the Tinian Little League for almost 10 years through those years, “I’ve seen James’ leadership during that time and has proven himself to be the best one to continue heading the league as our district administrator.”

Ada for his part, wants to extend his appreciation to the three island Little League presidents, Aquiningoc of Tinian, Juan Ayuyu of Rota and Mike Borja of Saipan for the support.

Ada also thanked the general membership and the public as well, for the contributions they generously gave through out respective leagues on Tinian, Saipan and Rota.
